Washing the interior carpet

I would recommend getting a steam cleaner such as the Bissell Little Green Clean Machine.

Actually, doing it on a dry day helps drying more than a warm day.
If it's humid out, forget it, it'll never dry. On colder days, it's generally less humid, so that helps quite a bit.
I imagine this is a little like home carpeting, in that you shouldn't soak the carpet. Get it wet enough to clean it, and if it's really dirty, go over it enough times to clean it (but not soak it). If it's still dirty, let it dry, and come back to it in a day or two. With home carpeting, soaking the carpet usually results in more harm than good. I'm thinking the same would apply here. Once you've soaked it, moisture works it's way under the carpet, where it stays. Mold and mildew can form at that point.

Re: Or there is also the cheaper version...
I took all of you guys' suggestions.
I used water + baking soda, and soak into it a big brush. Then comb through just enough to wet and clean. Then vacumn up.
