Default Water spots on windows - not coming off

Hey guys, my parents just had me come over and take a look at their MDX. It has what appears to be water spots (calcium deposits) covering all of their windows, and I assume the paint, though it's hard to see with the metallic finish. The spots can be seen clearly in the right light.

I tried a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water, and it did absolutely nothing. I tried scrubbing one tiny spot with my fingernail and pure vinegar, and it also didn't do anything. They think it might have seen a sprinkler that hit the car when they were up in the mountains. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Default I have them too...

I used a Glass cleaner. Was almost a compound. By hand. Did a little, but not allot. Thinking of using the orbital next time with Menzerna.

Default Your parents probably have a sprinkler system - you'll need to

polish the glass and paint with a high speed and after that don't park it there

Default I believe my mom has that under the sink for her range - how did you use it on the window?

Just scrub with a sponge? Thanks!

Hmm, I guess that should work. I'll try some things that are easier to get first. Thanks!
