Well I joined the big (really the minor) leagues today for paint care. A couple of questions.

I traditionaly had just used a cheap random orbital and got decent results but wanted a bit more. Today for my B-Day wifey bought a PC 7336SP for me. All I now need are the appropriate pads and products from our sponsor Detailers Paradise which I will order later this eve.
I used to use Griot's Polish 3 and then 2 coats coats of a 50/50 mix of Griots Best of Show Liquid Wax and Rejex. I found this gives me a very slippery, smooth and glossy finish that incidently made it through this past NH winter perfectly. I applied the last coat in late October.
My plan is to do a 3 step spring cleaning after a good detergent hand wash to remove the existing wax. I plan to:
1.) Use the Griots number 3 or similiar fine Polish from Detailers Paradise to clean the surface.
2,) Glaze with Meguiars's number 3 Machine Glaze for those all important paint nutrients.
3.) Use my mix of Griots and Rejex as stated above.
My questions that are not totally answered after a STFA based on our Audi finishes are:
A) Should I glaze after Polishing? There appears to be a difference of opinion on the boards and web.
B) Do any of the products do a good job of both Polish and Glaze? I believe Meguiars number 3 is a polish/glaze combo product.
Here's a pic from this Feb after a warm (40 deg) day hand wash and dry. The Griots/Rejex mix held up very well from last October.
Thanks.

Quite a 'brew' you blended...Griots+Rejex...how'd you come up with it? Wax+synthetic?

The Rejex gives a great gloss on Silver. The Griots Best of Show liquid wax has great clarity. Since you see some vendor products that claim to do both out of the bottle, I figured I would experiment. I was pleasantly surprised with each ratio. I may go back to 2:1 Wax to Rejex for the summer as I wax at least once a month during nice weather. I used the 1:1 to last the winter. It came through fantastic as you can see from the pic in my original post.

I am a certifed car nut. I like to buy 'em and mod 'em although I think the A6 is a keeper. With college to pay for and maybe 1 or possibly 2 more to pay for next year the budget is tight for car stuff. Check out the Cardomain link for some of my previous cars that I've known and loved.
My wife thinks I love my cars more than I love her. Some days that is true
She always quotes that line from Ferris Bueler's Day Off "He never drives it, he just polishes it with a diaper"
I've always detailed extensively including a boars bristle brush for the interior vents etc... I take great pride in a clean well cared for nice vehicle. Wifey doesn't understand it as her car's interior is an extension of her purse and is an absolute pig pen.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/783034/1</a
