Default What is the best wheel cleaner and protector please.

At present I am using 'wonder wheels' on my 18" zender alloys. But I have headr of wheel wax which supposedly repels brake dust?? What do you guys recommend please.

Default isn't that one grand blitz for the whole car rather than just the wheels?

Also how do you apply it to just the wheels.

Also I have a auto polisher, how do I use it, Does one spread the polish on teh car first (with what) and then use the autopolisher or do you put it on the autopolisher and hten go over. It seems that you have to use loads of polish?

Default If you truly want to eliminate brake dust, install Kleen Wheels to your wheels. They are...

an inside alumnium shield that prevents the dust from coming out and coating your wheels.

Default I don't think I would want to do that EVER to my car.

If it could possibly result in any reduction in brake cooling capacity, I would never install that on my car. As it is the brakes don't have a high heat capacity...I certainly wouldn't want to reduce that.

If you drive like a granny, I doubt you would notice any difference.

That's OK, I'd rather have dirty wheels than those wheels on Audis

Default I would agree for high performance driving not to reduce any airflow to the brakes. However,...

for normal over-the-road driving, they do not affect the braking performance due to reduced cooling. I was also concerned about this potential, but Kleen Wheels have directional slits around the circumferance that permit airflow through them. So far, I have noticed no affect on either my '00 VW Passat 1.8L or my '96 A6 Avant.
