Hey Guys and Gals,
I just took delivery of my 2012 A5 and was wondering what kind of product I should use to clean the inside and out?
Thanks
Clint

Well I'll give you my opinion. You have 2 questions to ask yourself: 1) How much time do I want to spend and 2) How much money do I want to spend.
You might want to spend some time at autogeek (http://www.autogeekonline.net/) as they have a great forum and lots of online videos.
I'm a big fan of Griots Garage products, but a number of detailing companies have some great products.
For just getting started I would focus on the following
1) Interior Cleaner
2) Leather Care
3) Car Wash Soap
4) Two wash mits - I say two as I have a Phantom Black A7 and use one mitt for the top parts of the car and another for the bottom parts. Never the two shall meet as the Phantom Black will start showing swirl marks
5) Bucket with grit guard
6) Microfiber drying towel
For waxing you either can go with a sealant that will last 6-12 months, a carnauba wax will last 2-3 months or a synthetic wax that will last 3-6 months. For me I use a sealant and then top it off with a carnauba wax few times a year.
The most important thing is to use the products as directed. Do rush the process and enjoy yourself... Nothing makes me happier than 2-3 hours in the garage with the A7.
Phantom Black is great and will reward you by looking great if you take care of it.
