Default Definitely pick up a wool pad, also known as a leveling pad. They're specifically...

designed for just what you need to do.

Default well I got it now, it just took a little more work. I used meguiers(sp?) step process

went from medium cut to the swirl remover. I used a cotton pad though. It still looks like I could get a little bit more shine out of it though. Any easy to get polishes that you would recommend to get the final finish done. And I guess I'll get a wool pad for it. Thanks BTW.

Default I'm not to familiar with the Meguiars line of products but I believe they're composed

mainly with fillers,I like to use the Menzerna twins IP & FP,they're a bit more work intensive but the results are longer lasting.Troy can fill you in on the Meguiars line in more detail.

Default If you're down to wondering if you should polish more, you've passed the point at which you should

have used the wool pad. That pad is made for post-compounding and will itself result in a hazing that will require further polishing. Sounds like you've done a lot of work, going backwards to the wool pad will just erase some of that.

As for the Meguiar's 3-step process. It's OK. Their pro line is better (#80(?) orbital polish & #9 SMR are recommended) but Menzerna is better still.
