My wife's car has wood trim around the shifter, and it's all scratched up. No deep scratches, but the wood trim has a high gloss finish, so superficial scratches really show up when the light hits it a certain way. I've tried Pledge, One Grand Omega Glaze, 3M IHG, Blitz wax, and guitar polish....none of these has removed these scratches. I haven't tried any truly abtasive polishes or cleaners yet, but before I do I figured I'd ask here. Anyone dealt with this problem? I can make my own guesses about what to use next, but I'd be particularly interested to hear from anyone who has found a product that actually works in this situation. Thanks.

If they are scratches, they will need to be buffed out.
Do the same as you would for your cars paint, start low and work your way up with abrasiveness.
I had the same problem, plastic polish would hide it for awhile but they would always come back. Finally I used 3M Perfect it I, followed by 3M Swirl Mark Remover. Most of the scratches are gone! =)
I also recently put a layer of Klasse AIO over it, to prevent further scratching.
