whats the best thing to clean / polish and protect all the rubber around the windows?

for faded trim, also look into "forever black"
Its an actual black dye, instead of a shoe-polish like substance like "back to black"
I still use back to black on relatively new rubber moldings, but for older worn seals forever black is the only way to go.

Meguiars makes a protectant that works well.
I spray the cloth, apply, and then wipe again with a clean cloth;
this keeps it from getting too slick or dust-attracting but leaves
a nice matte black behind. Seems to last for a while too. Cannot
recall the name but it's their vinyl/plastic spray, comes in a large
burgundy spray bottle. Not too glossy if you wipe after you apply
so it's useful inside too.
