Whats the consensus on Jetseal 109? Vs other sealants, specifically FMJ?
I was to the local detail store; asked co-owner what he had that was comparable to Menzerna FMJ. From his facial reactions and brief comments he isn't impressed with FMJ. Though he said Menzerna's polishes are excellent. Then proceeded to guide me to Jetseal 109. I was in a rush so I didn't have much of a discussion with him. What do the gurus here have to say?
I picked up a 16oz bottle. Pretty expensive at 38.95. Anyone have any tips on applying this stuff?

That dude is smokin' crack rock...
Just out of curiosity, does the guy at the local detial store carry Menzerna? It's the same with home theater. If you go into a custom home theater store and if they don't carry the brand, then they're pretty quick to badmouth it. I could see the same happening with car care products. I've used FMJ on my last 2 details as my wax, and while I haven't seen what the results are for durability, the shine it leaves is outstanding and it is extremely smooth. It is now my standard for doing details.

No, but he did give credit to their polishes.
I believe his company also makes most of their product.
I tried the jetseal over the weekend. I was in a rush so I didn't get a chance to put a second layer. Initial impression- Menzerna and jetesal both have that nice smooth feel but Menzerna has more of a slippery feel to it. Obviously can'tcomment on durability.

I use Jetseal 109, it is great stuff and so easy to apply...
Just apply a thin coat all over with an applicator pad by hand, then leave it for 20 mins to cure, then buff off with a MF. Repeat with a second coat, wait 20 mins again then buff off. It buffs off super easy and gives a great wet finish. You can top with wax if you wish too. It is a bit expensive but you only use a little for the entire car (good on alloywheels too. Lasts ages too, so I'm happy to recommend it.
