Who would wash/wax a new car if it was supposed to rain...

The way I see it, if I get a clear/dry day during the week that may be my only chance to wash the car for a month or two. Gotta do it when you can.
And yes, I have washed the car while it was raining.

I actually live for those overcast days where you can work on the car without fear of water drying up and leaving water spots. Best time to wash is either dusk, dawn, or just before it's going to rain! If it's just before rain, that usually affords me enough time to wax outdoors in sunlight. It's easier than walking around the car with a flashlight in a garage.

... here in "sunny" South Florida. It might even have been for longer than that. I have washed twice a week during that time (water spots on BB are bad).
