Probably. Not familiar with Einszett, but it does remove Menzerna Final polish residue.

Default So, Am I to understand that whatever is applied prior to
to using GEPC is a waste of time & product ?

Default No. You might want to use 3M SMR or hand glaze prior to GEPC. Must follow a polish such as GEPC...
with a coat of wax.

Default Ummmm...So, it removes some brands of polishes but not all of them?
Is there some list of products not to apply before using GEPC ?

Default Polishes like Menzerna and SMR don't leave anything behind (I don't think)...
as opposed to products like GEPC and IHG which do seem to leave something on the paint to give it that extra slickness and gloss.

Default SMR - swirl mark remover... I've also read that it is a polish that permanently removes swirls
IHG has a filler to hide swirls.

Default Correct, SMR is abrasive while IHG is a pure polish/filler. On the other hand...
both Menzerna products (IP & FP) are abrasive. If I were using 3M, I'd go SMR, then GEPC, then IHG and finally wax.
