Default Yet another newbie question - this time the interior...

I recently used Meguiar's Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant (because I was waiting for my Lexol to arrive and got impatient) on my black dashboard and composites inside the car. The damn dashboard looks like a lint factory now. When I clean this off this weekend and go over it with the Lexol, will I have the same dust "pick-up" problems? Is there something else out there that helps from particles sticking to the dash? Thanks, y'all!

Default You sure the lint factory isnt from whatever rag you used?

I've been using Natural Shine for a year now and after use, the only lint left is from my rag, which I brush off with my hand or my vacuum and a soft brush attachment.

I've noticed no excess lint/dust buildup from the Natural Shine either, but I also drive with windows closed 100% of the time and A/C on recirc most of the time.

Lexol is for leather. Use Harly Poly Guard on the dash, and use a 3M micro fiber cloth to dust.

Default Onyx interior shows every particle of dust, no getting around it.

My A4 has an onyx interior, so I feel your pain. Dust is an almost constant companion. Use the cleaner/protectants to make it look the way you want it when it's clean. Use something else to keep the dust off. Those Pledge Grab-It cloths (another company makes Swiffer, same basic thing) are great for really quickly getting all the dust off the dash. They grab the dust and hold it. They're in any supermarket. I keep a couple in the car. You can dust the dash while you're at a stop light, it's that easy. Just don't use it on the clear plastic instrument cluster cover; it'll scratch that.

303 isn't oily so will not attract dust either. Use MF Cloth to clean. No dust there.
