2000 S4 Brake Squeal
The whole story:
So I took my car in for a checkup a while ago and they told me that the front rotors were warped. My brake pads also needed replacement. I decided I'll wait it out until there were no brakes left and just replace them together... A couple months later when the brake pads were nonexistent, I bought some ceramic brakes for front and rear along with some OEM front rotors and did the work myself... Now a week later, I’m having an issue with brake noise. The brakes, when warmed up and only when warmed up, squeal horribly and I’m a little confused as to what would be causing this issue. I’m wondering if it’s because they are glazed or if it’s some other issue I’m unaware off. If not glazed would anti-squeal brake lube work or shims help?
