Default 120000km maintenance in Toronto....questions

97 Audi A4 1.8TQ
Does anyone know what are all the things that are performed during this service ??

This is because I do not want to go to my local dealer to have this service done, simply because of the price (sometimes the service).

Could someone list all the service that would be done?
As well as the parts that usually need to be replaced?? (I've done control arms, and timing belt already)
Usually, what should the cost of this maintenance be?
Anyone have a mechanic they could recommend for this job?

THX

Default How did you figure that out?

I just wanted to know how one goes about finding out what exactly is done for each of the services. My local dealership service people seem a little reluctant to spend time discussing what is exactly done.

Default You're right, it is on the audi canada website...

All you have to do is register at "My Audi" on the website, and register your VIN, and you get access to the serice schedule.

Default 120K or 60 month service?

I'm curious, is your mileage actually at 120k or is it your 60 month service? I went in to get my first service at my local Audi dealership (I just purchased my car used), and according to my bill, I received the 108,000 km service, even though I only have 56,000 km on my car, then I notice it said 54 month/ 108,000 km service. Consequently, does this mean I actually have to get my timing belt done in 3 more services, even though I won't be even close to 144,000 km?

Default I'm around 101000kms....so I would say I'm going in for 60 month service...

If you haven't gotten your timing belt done with that high of mileage, I would suggest you book an appointment soon. I've read bad things when those break.

I updated my timing belt (to the newer model, just for security reasons - Audi's are not the most reliable cars in the world.

Just curious, which dealer do you go to?

I'm actually only at 56,000 km on the car. Do you think I really need to change the timing belt soon? The previous owner didn't drive the car much, and brought the car in regularly over the last four and a half years.

I went to Clarkdale in Vancouver for the servicing.
