Default Anyone have experience buying your car from an other province?

Any hints on how the tax works?

What about the differential on a trade-in?

How does the car get registered?

Any difference between those provinces that have HST versus GST+PST versus just GST?

Default No problems, do some homework in advance

Check with your MV department. Normally they require a bill of sale, previous registration and proof of insurance - you're done.
No PST in the Yukon - just the GST. But Some provinces collect the remaining taxes when you register.
There's no short-cuts and the **** beuracrats can make life hell if you don't tag all the bases in order. All of this procedure info should be on their websites.

Default I'll spend time on that this week - might be some tricky points about an new car

Especially if I trade the vehicle in another province.
