BMW's rates are similar if not higher than Audi's at this time. 4.9, 5.9 and 6.9%

Default Let's assume it is true that BMW has problems moving X5's

Ok, fine. Let's assume it is true that BMW has problems moving X5's etc. How about Audi USA, which is almost the same company. I see their special offers and it frustrates me that in Canada Audi customers do not get the same kind of treatment. Moreover, when my friend in Seattle (Audi owner as well) contacted his local dealer asking him if he will sell a Q7 to a person in Canada the dealer said (off the air) that Audi USA recommends not to sell Audi's to Canadians. How about that?

Default Lease offers are mostly on residual

Similar Audi is way more expensive to lease, that is what matters.

Sounds fair to me. If everyone bought cars in the US, then we'd close the dealers in CA.

Default It is basically true, but there're better way of saying that ...

this is the first time in the last 5 years that I've been selling Audi's that we don't that many '06's left. One A6 3.2 and one 1.8t cab. not bad at all. Our next door neigbors (Volvo) have a ton of 06's left, that's where the incentives play a huge role. However, you have to wonder why they're not selling.

Default Canada never gets a lot of the things the US gets

And it's just not only applies to cars.

In one way, AOA used to treat Canada and the US as seperate markets, and it never worked for us. Now that Audi Canada is established and correct me if I'm wrong Alex, is now responsible for the marketing in Canada, we'll probably see some things change. A step in the right direction.

Default You're not wron Mike, we're already seeing changes. Price drop of premium pkg on the ...

A4 2.0 quattro from $2,200 to $800, sunroof from $1,400 to $800 in the FWD A4, s-line from $3,700 to $1,500 in the A4 3.2. We also have higher residuals than they do in the US, we acomplished this by making dealers buy the lease returns instead of returning them to Audi.
Sr. Ramos is making some changes and making Audi Canada have its own identity.

Default Cool, so hopefully more things to come in the future

Especially when I need to re-evaluate on whether to buy the current A4 out or buy a new B8
