The demand for A5s in Jan 08 was significantly higher than could be met
Supply was the limiting factor there. They probably could have sold 4x that many cars.

Numbers must be horrible (as you already mentioned)
Audi Canada hasn't released the numbers as it hasn't showed up on Canadian Newswire yet, and Audi usually posts the info within the first five days of the month.
