Default Back from my three week vacation through Europe... and Audi Driver's Day.

Well what can I say, I love Europe. I just came back from a beautiful vacation and thought sharing with you some pics.

We did Spain (Madrid and Barcelona), France (Paris, Nice and Monaco), Italy (Venice, Rome and Florence) and finally Germany (Ingolstadt and Munich). We did pretty much all by train and I left the best (Audi Driver's Day) for last. If you don't know about the program I highly recommend it, for more info check <a href="http://www.audi.ca/audi/ca/en2/experience/Audi_Driver_Day.html">http://www.audi.ca/audi/ca/en2/experience/Audi_Driver_Day.html</a>

Here you have some pics of some cars you don't see every day.

A lot of micro cars...

In Spain the do know how to park!
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC04810.JPG" />

More of that parallel parking strategy....

Honda Accord ... and here it Acura TSX
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC04904.JPG" />

Beautiful beaches of Barcelona
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC04917.JPG" />

The Allroad we don't get here
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC05248.JPG" />

Did I mentioned they use any car to tow any trailer...
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC05426.JPG" />

Some beautiful cars in Monaco
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC05490.JPG" />

And here you have some pics of the RS4 I got to drive for 3 days through the Germany and Italy's Alps..

<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC06344.JPG" />
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC06348.JPG" />

Only 3000KM when i got it. I end up doing about 1200KM.
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC06352.JPG" />

The Ceramic brakes saved my butt a few times on the Alps...
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC06379.JPG" />

Really nice white interior
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC06402.JPG" />

Hey, the cup holder works
<img src="http://www.jalx.com/europe/DSC06453.JPG" />

Well, that's about it. I got to up to 250KM on the Autobahn and the car was rock solid, even my wife was comfortable with me driving that fast (that does not happen often). That said, I used about 30 liters to do 80KM at that speed.
Anyway, great vacation and the Audi Driver's day was the perfect final.

Thanks for reading.

Default I would like to say I have contacts, but I just paid for it. :)

Check the website, the Audi Driver's Day program it's pretty good and well priced. You get to choose from any top model, RS4 Cab was my first option and the RS6 was my second.

Default It depends on the package you choose...

I took the Audi driver's day program "The sky is the limit - this could be heaven" and it was 625 Euros per person. This includes the car for 3 days, 2 nights on a 4 star hotel, and some meals.

Check it out here<ul><li><a href="http://www.audi.com/etc/medialib/cms4imp/audi2/reports.Par.0174.File.pdf">http://www.audi.com/etc/medialib/cms4imp/audi2/reports.Par.0174.File.pdf</a</li></ul>

Default I gota do that next...

... my two weeks in France was nice but three weeks would be that much nicer. Add an audi to the mix and I'd be set.

I can't wait to go back to europe.
