Better mileage with Nitrogen in my tires!!!
So i decided to put nitrogen in my tires from Canadian tire, at first i was skeptic of it blowing up but after a few drives it feels better than air. My tires stay firmer and i've increased my mileage by 50km eventhough i have a bad o2 sensor. Really impressed but still need these winter tires off, the sound is killing me.....

More like better mileage with inflated tires
You know that gas mileage improves as it gets warmer too, right? There's no way putting nitrogen in your tires has any significant gas mileage impact

Nitrogen is more stable at different temperatutes & also has less moisture so less rubber oxidat
With higher air pressure retention since N2 has a lower permeability than O2 this would give you over all better fuel economy because of less volume expansion with temperature because of nitrogen's inherently lower water absorption characteristics. As well in the long run expect an improvement in structural durability because of reduction in rubber oxidation.
Just make sure you really are getting N2, a good shop should also have an N2 meter to prove that that is what your tires now have.

LOL... are you reading out of a brochure? If it's true that "N2 has a lower permeability than O2"...
then each time I add air to my tires, I'm basically replacing the escaping O2. After a while, I'll have essentially 99% N2 in my tires, at no cost to me.
I understand its use in high stress situations such as airplane tires, but I believe that the benefits of using it in passenger car tires are negligible. Monitoring your tire pressure regularly would be far more useful.
Koz.
