Damn no name German tuning company!

PSA: Don't do a FATS run uphill...it shrinks your *****.

PSA 2: Avoid re-killing dead raccoons when doing a FATS run.

That's all.

</end rant>

Default 3rd gear from 4200-6500 rpm logged via Vag-Com. IIRC "FATS" =

"For the Advancement of the S" unless I misremembered (ala Rocket Roger) the true definition.

It's a benchmark that takes the driver out of the equation i.e. 1 gear and standard rev range. Problem is the location of the run is still variable...i.e. is it slightly downhill, slightly uphill (where we did ours) or perfectly flat. So comparing one car to another could be difficult.

IMO, it's more geared to Stage III b/c by 5500+ RPMs, K03's are sucking wind, but it's standard, so all K03's suck equally.

StageIII's run in the 3 second range. Stage II s/b in low 5's, I guess. Mine was in neither range.
