Default Buying an Audi in Calgary.

I am considering purchasing a new Audi Avant 1.8T from Glenmore Audi in Calgary. They are the only dealership in town so I was wondering if this affects the ability to negotiate with them. Am I stuck paying MSRP on the car? They have a lot of sedans on the lot and no Avants which means I'll probably be ordering one in. Does this also affect the ability to deal with them? Any help would be great

Default Check resonanace at 2100 rpm.

While you are doing a test drive , check if you notice a resonance at 2100 rpm, especially when it is cold outside.(Below 0 C.) You would feel it in neutral, or any gear, transmitted up through the centre of the car into the seat.
Let me know if you notice anything.
Thanks.

Default These guys work off....

approx 11% margin. Figure out what's fair for both of you and go after it.
Try out this site to see what the wholesale is for your car.
Good luck.

Give Southgate in Edmonton a call! You won't be sorry.

I am also seriously considering to buy an A4 Avant shortly. I heard Audi's are less expensive (about $1G less) in Vancouver due to the competition factor. Any luck yet? I was also considering to buy the car from Southgate.

Default I sent a Vancouver dealer an e-mail asking for a quote and they

forwarded it to southcente (now Glenmore Audi) who said to give them a call. I called them and said I was ready to make an immediate deal if the price was right and 15 minutes later we were done. BTW,pay $25 and get the Dealers Invoice price (there is a couple of places on the internet, I forgot which one I used.)and negotiate from that.
