Default Re: Whoa! An FXX in Canada! Must be one of the few, if not the only.

It's probably one of the few in the world that is tracked on a regular basis. He drives it almost as much as the 430. I think there are 3 in Canada.

Default One RS4 was from NJ. Talked to the owner while doing the technical inspection of his car prior to...

Registration for the event. The other RS4 belongs to Audi Corporate North America and actually had no VIN number. It was scheduled to be crushed or crash tested so we were told.

There were two guys from Audi using it but I can't remember their names, sorry.

Default Tim Eaton is a trainer from Auburn Hills and the other guy ...

Declan is a test pilot for Audi. They were at Mosport yesterday with us. They told us that they "borrowed" the RS4 from Audi Canada and took it there.

Default They were running in the instructor group

There were two RS4's at the event. I drove the Audi owned one. I took it out in the yellow group, I believe, and managed to take down some people at a ridiculous rate.

Declan Mulready was the other driver, and one of the best driver's I've ever met. He was also one of my first instructors, oh so many years ago, when he was fresh off winning the Irish national rally championship for VW.

Default Re: They were running in the instructor group

Thanks, I remember seeing it flying in the rain on Sunday morning. Saturday we were running in the same group and there were a lot of yellow cars so I couldn't really guage its' speed or remember seeing it.. How many hp and what is they weight? I know there is no timing allowed but sometimes people forget to turn off their lap timers by accident. Any guesses?
