Default DAMN! Someone stole my Topspin lip spoiler!!!! What can I use on my paint to remove the sticky

residue left behind while I order another from Eric at SPP.

I don't want to use paint thinner or Goo Gone if it harms my paint.

Any ideas besides soap and water?

The car was at the Dealer all day yesterday and today but they parked it inside over night. I don't understand. I hope we can figure something out because this dealership has been very good to me but the car was in their posession when the spoiler was taken....

Default You gotta be kidding me, somebody stole a spoiler of all things???

You could have probably left the car outside tonight... with that strong wind and rain, it may have taken all that sticky residue away!!

Default Dude thats terrible. It was stolen while your car was AT the dealer? One more reason to call it the

STEALERSHIP!

Which dealer? Are they replacing it for you?

Uhmm... goo gone is paint safe. Its what most people use to de-badge their cars. I used it.
Try using goo gone in combination with some dental floss and a blow dryer.

If by some odd chance you need to replace it out of pocket (highly unlikely), I've got a spare M3 lip unpainted laying around for ya!

Sorry to hear about this brother!

Default Speaking of stron wind and Rain...

Bruno, how did the areo wipe install go, in terms of fit and function? Do you get that 1" or so that doesn't touch the windshield on the passenger side?

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, ppl these days have no respect for others property.

Default We will be taling about it tomorrow...

I really like the Topspin lip over the BMW one.
It seems to fit better and sits up just a tad higher.

I'm going to try Tar and Bug remover before going with Goo Gone.

Thanks Andre.... let me know about the VAG COM.

Visti and I did some logging today. My first time... cool.

Default Nice! I'm out of town for the weekend, but hopefully we can get together at lunch next week.

Is mid-week good for you? Wednesday or Thursday?

WD40 and scrubbing will do the job, your paint will not be affected... I used it to debadge my car.
