Do the new A4's come with regular or synthetic oil?

Why do you think Audi changed the interval times?
Not sure what type of oil it came from the factory with.
Put in some Mobile 1 0W40 and call it a day.

I just got my first 8000km oil change yesterday on my '04 A4 3.0. You don't change oil the first time until 8000km bcos they put in an additive to the oil to help the engine break in better.
The next scheduled service is at 25,000km.
The service guy said it doesn't hurt to change it in between that time, but according to the Audi engineers, the car will be fine even without. But if one should push their car to the limits frequently, I'm sure its common sense to change your oil more often. BTW, I noticed after I took my car in for service, someone took the car for a 3km joy-ride.. bastards..
