Default Exhaust Options?

i did some searching and reading and i found that Borla and Milltek are the best exhaust options for me. I'm looking for a quiet growls but some of the articles say Borla is quiet and milltek is loud and vice versa. I personally am looking for a soft clean growl not loud like a civic, which one of these 2 exhausts will give me more performance as well as a soft sound. Could someone help clarify this or/and does anyone have any of these 2's with a TIP tranny that can verify the sound? please and thnx

Depends on the diameter of the system. I run a borla and it sounds very good, but it's a 3" turbo back system and there's really no way to keep it quiet!

Default On our cars the borla is louder and throatier than the Milltek but not rice sounding.

You'll find that many B5 A4 guys LOVE the sound of the Borla.

By all accounts the Miltek much quieter. In fact, the Miltek and APR are considered the quietest exhausts for our car.

Borla comes with the million mile warrantee and Miltek is also known for its quality.

Independent Sells Miltek but can also get their hands on a Borla unit for you.

Let me know what you find out. I've been wanting a Borla for my car for quite a while. Just waiting for the right deal to come along.
