Pfaff Tuning has just completed the first GIAC upgrade for Canadian B8 A4 vehicles, and let me tell you this thing is a TORQUE MONSTER!

When I drove it today, the conditions were cold and wet but no snow on the main roads...this had enough torque to break the tires lose when powering out of a low speed corner...I like!

We had also installed the "Sprint Booster" which eliminates any lag in the electronic throttle...what a difference!

The new software will conservitively produce 22-34 BHP and 34 to 48 lbs/ft of torque.

This means that on the low end of the numbers, the 2.0t will have on hand 292 lbs/ft of torque, high end at 306 lbs/ft.

In comparison the new 3.0 supercharged V6 engine in the A6 which has 310 lbs/ft of torque! The new A4 will have numbers are remarkably close!

The new software is $699.00 installed which is huge bang for the buck!

Default Nice

I read that this program is only for the tiptronic, so possibility there might be even more torque for the manual?

What is Sprint Booster? Is it part of the software?

Default Not 100% but I do know there were some variances btween CDN & US ecu's...

So there will likely be a different program for the manual.
There is aprox 12 for the A3 2.0t alone! I was shocked to hear that.

Default It's basically an "amplifier" for the electronic throttle...a nice addition to the package!

It removes any of the lag that the factory e-throttle has, instant response!
