I read in a thread that apa gives you the dealer cost on all options and every tax, fee, etc. that you should expect to pay.
But doesn't carcost also do that? IT's cheaper. And I thought carcost also gives any incentives the dealer gets from the mfrs, so you know the real invoice price (what they paid minus the incentive).

Used APA when i bought my A4 Avant CVT. They broke the whole thing down and if i couldn't get the price they quoted me they recommend someone who will sell at that price. They also told me that it's tough to haggle on luxury cars. Not a lot of wiggle room.
Cost me 60 bucks and i guess a little piece of mind that i didn't get completly screwed.

Did you just use their dealer cost service, or the buying service where they negotiate the price for you. Did you become a member of apa or just buy single quotes? what would you recommend? I just want one quote, since i've narrowed down the car.
i saw an earlier post of yours when i was searching, where you'd mentioned that carcost doesn't give cost on options, but from the link i posted below, it looks like they do.
