Got a summons to court driving under a suspended license

I've got a few of those, sent for court for all of them...i've recieved court dates for all but one
ticket, and that is the ticket that suspended me, however i have the ticket, it is stamped, and i recieved no court date info at all. Figured because it was downtown.
Anyways, not my responsibility to make sure ontarios courts get up to speed with what they do, i've had ticket that take foerever for you to get your court date in the mail, and I dismissed this ticket as one of those.

I have lots of experience with tickets, some take 2 months for you to recieve your court date
some take up to 8 months if downtown. I had pleaded not guilty, I'm not sure if I had a court date and it passed, OR if they never accepted my not guilty plea, either way, the original ticket is at my office, stamped.

btw, the officer also gave me Summons to court for:
- failing to display front plate
-impropper ownership (i only had photocopy of the front, not the back, been like this in my cars for 5 years, never had an officer tell me it wasnt good enough)
3 summons, and he said he WOULD write me summons for non-factory installed exhaust, but his hand is tired

Yeah you are correct, however I always take care of them, I have recieved up to
18 front plate tickets in the last 5 years, i pay the fines, im fine with doing that.

Exactly, what i've been told so far is....cops USUALLY only serve you, they dont write tickets, but
they CAN write tickets if they want, if 7 days has passed since your suspension has started, but they rarely do.
but for a unpaid front-plate fine, this guy felt it was necessary i guess.

I hope you have contacted a good lawyer by now...
You'll need one since this is a repeat (!) offence, and that's exactly how the judge will see it. After receiving a few already for the same offence, shouldn't there be some warning signs? Isn't there a limit?
