TO guys. How safe is North York - Sheppard and Yonge? Will be staying at the Novotel Hotel

Sheppard and Younge isn't too bad. That area is pretty posh.
I have a few friends that work and live in that area and I've heard no complaints.
But still, you might not want to walk around outside by yourself at night.

So you're staying at the Novohell?
It's just a nickname and nothing more 
I used to live at the apartments behind the Yonge/Sheppard subway station. Area is safe, I wouldn't worry about walking around at night there.
Too bad I'm not around at that time, won't be able to make it to vagkraft.

I'd say it's very safe...

There's always traffic on Yonge as well as increased police presence (whatever you do, never speed on Yonge street).
