Can you confirm that the install is exactly the same as outlined on the LLTEK site?
Do I need to trim the base of the D1S bulb to make it fit into the H7 bulb holder or anything?

I would say it's 90% as same as the LLtek site.
As for the D1S bulb, you would need to purchase the correct bulb type. I don't think the H7 would fit onto the oem D1S base on the headlights. Also, I believe that the D1S and the D2S are interchangeable.

Yes, the HID kits do come with the bulbs. But when someone ask about the D1S and D2S, I am...
assuming that they have oem Xenon lights and not halogens. If you have regular halogens headlights, then all you have to do is purchase the correct bulb base, for the Audi A4 and S4, which is a H7.
