Default I am officially a noob

I bought a bumper cover used to replace my broken one. Didn't realize that there was this thing called a bumper support that the one I bought didn't have.

5 hours later i finished what I thought would be a 1 hour job.

doh

p.s. Audi sux at designing for workability. There were rivets holding the support on the cover as well as these plastic thingy's that had to be broken and couldn't be re-used. i hope it holds up with the bits of glue that i stuck on lol

Default I know what you have gone trough. I changed a hood, headlight, fender and modified a rad support...

on one of my friend's car two weeks ago. What I tought would be a 2h job took 5h because we had to unbent the rad support with a hammer and a 2x4. lol

Default Not your fault. I'm a noob for not asking or evening knowing such a thing existed.

Of course, now that I search the archives for "bumper support" it's all over.

In any case, it all worked out fine and I ended up saving about $700. (Was paid $1100 by the at fault party, only cost me about $400 in total to fix it - and 5 hours of my time )
