I calculated the fuel economy in my car (I was bored). Mixed driving is 10.2L/100km...

Sorry to break it to you, but I consistently get 500-550K per tank, to empty...
and I mean empty. The fuel tank in the B5 A4/S4 holds 60 litres. I routinely put in 55-58 litres. i have once put in over 60 litres, which leads me to think that it may hold slightly more than 60L.
I'm stage 3, BTW! Most of my driving is done at 100-120KPH (secondary highways/ light 401 traffic). I'll get this mileage if I drive fairly easy, with only a few WOT sprints in second or third gears. Not much stop and go/ city driving. Trip computer displays 11-11.5L/100Km, I almost always shift lower gears at around 3000RPM.
I have a couple of friends that drive B5 S4s, but they can't get that mileage out of the car. Both of them get 400K tops. One thing I should make note of is that I remote start the car almost every morning, and evening when leaving work. The car idles for about 2 minutes each time. I don't think this should make my mileage any better, but it may! I also idle the car for 1 minute before shutting the engine off(turbo timer. remote starter combo).

That's quite good: it's the consumption I'm expecting/hoping for when I'm driving over to GTA
Then again I've got 2 more cylinders' worth of dead weight to move around, plus infinitely more weight :P

AudiWorld Super User
My Audi A6 4.2 - 15 to 17 L/100 km. Kawasaki 636 - 7 L per 100 km
Both are thirsty, I have this thing for acquiring vehicles that get poorer than normal fuel economy for them.
Sigh.
I'm also throttle-happy

Hmmm i think if i drained the tank completely, I could definitely get 500km...
but since you're stg 3, that's pretty damn good mileage. But then again, I do a lot more stop and go DVP traffic and old-lady scarbarough traffic as well
