Default if we organized a GROUPBUY on this part (jack block), who would be interested?

I know it has to be hacksawed a tiny bit shorter to work properly on the B5 chassis, bit I know of no alternatives.

Reply to this thread, we're gauging interest!!

Does it fit the B6? I'd be in if it does.

Default One that Fits jack saddles with 5/8" or 1 1/8" holes??

If 'yes', make some and we'll buy em off you!! Otherwise, I have neither the tools nor time to worry about a $30 part, so I'm ordering one 8^)

Default Ask over on the B6 forum if someone is using it....Also, what kind of jackstand...

does the B6 come with? IF it's the SAME as the b5, then it'll definitely work.

Default Speaking of floorjacks, my $29.99 CrappyTire one is dying, it doesn't go as high as it used to be...

Can anyone recommend a good and relatively inexpensive jack? One concern I have is that it needs to clear the bottom of my car after I get coilovers in it, it won't be slammed, about 1" drop max.

And the jack block is a good idea too.

After reading many stock emergency jack failures, I'm definitely bring a proper floor jack with me on my road trip!

Thanks in advance!

Default 3 ton floor jack from CanTire w/ 2 stands, $100 (on sale).

Michelin jack was on sale last week for $140. Just keep looking on their website, you'll find a deal pretty soon I'm sure.
