Is this a joke - or is this Audi Canada's Pricing?

Today went to get pricing on the following:
2009 A3 /q DSG Quattro Premium
- Sports Package
- not included is black headliner - I need to pay $2,100 for that
$44,600
Last year I priced out an A3 3.2 and A4 2.0T for LESS.
Though the A3 is what I want - I could get a similar priced 135i for a tad more then that. AudiUSA would give it to me for $10,000 LESS then Canada.
Is this an early April Fools joke? It's a $45,00 Jetta with Quattro...

We are replacing our ML500 this winter and had thought seriously about a Q7 or possibly a Q5.
With the lack of service and just plain dealer hostility I'd be mad to buy from them.
I'll be looking at a ML550. I have had nothing but great service and respect from the MB dealer.

Consideration that there is no more free 4 year/80,000 kms maintenance (another thing you now need to buy) and their lease rate are higher than let say BMW, no wonder people are going somewhere else.
To me an A3 Quattro with a 2.0TFSI should be in the low 30s at most really no more than 32K. The VR6 powered car mid 30s and not more than 37-38K fully equipped with all options.
The new B8 A4 with Quattro with a 2.0TFSI should be around 35-38K fully loaded and the V6 car getting a 5-6K premium. The new A5 Coupe should also only get a 2K premium on top of the A4 prices.
BTW, the 2.0TFSI motor should come standard with a minimum of 250HP but ideally closer to 275HP and not the low 200HP it's got now.
Sorry Audi but you need to readjust your aim big time.
