Default I agree, their prices are too high....

I looked into the new B6 chip, quite overpriced. They say due to customs/brokerage fees.

Default I'm in the middle of exams right now (MBA) so I haven't been able to crunch the numbers yet.

I'll get back to you next week.

Default Re: JRP is a ripp off...I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YA

i got APR chip quoted with $950 BEFORE TAX !!! image how much will be after tax..and comparing with $399 US at any american APR distributor (even after converted exchange rate )~

i'm thinking either getting APR through any US APR, or h2sport for GIAC chip. However, i still think h2sport quotted to high too.they quoted me for $850 before tax (another fd of mine got quoted for $680 CND from h2sport..) they probably have no idea when they talk about #'s..~~

or is anyone here interested in having a "GB chip" from either h2sport or american APR..just to save us some bucks..~ i believe lots of canadian owners would like to chip their babies.
if lots ppl like to do a GB, we may need someone to talk to either H2sport or APR.

Default actuall those are the same they gave me

there is a big diff. in price when it comes to whether you need the chip for the 99 and prev. A4 or 99.5 A4 and beyond. I cant remember what the difference is exactly, but if you check awe-tuning.com, you'll see that there is a difference in price of about $100USD between 99 & 99.5
