comments? As Canadians, I see it as our duty to educate the American public about the inferiority of KK "doughnuts". What do y'all think?

With Tim going to frozen donuts I don't know about that. My observation in the Tim is not providing very good service or product. They have locations and the hearts of Canadians but since their sale to Wendys the quality has gone down as they focus more on profits.

I heard so many good things about KK but never had the chance to try it...
Is it as good as everyone says they are? I've read about Canadians driving down there for a KK run and brought back 20+ boxes of KK doughnuts! And ate them all in one weekend!!

KK is okay when warm but Tim's chocolate glazed and honey crullers rule.
And to top it off, I'll order coffee and timbits for a carfull of people and it'll be under $5 Cdn which buys you one latte and half a treat at starbucks.

But what's the coffee like? While I wouldn't call Hortons coffee great (m)
it's better than any other 'donut shop' coffee I've tried.
Thread drift - what are some good 'chain' style coffee shops?
I like
- Second Cup
- 'Timothys' or some such, found in malls
