<a href="http://www.övk.at/veranstaltungen/symposien/2008/29_fachprogramm_en.htm">29th International Vienna Motor Symposium</a>
Audi AG, Ingolstadt: The Audi 3.0L TFSI - the New Top-of-the-Range V6 Engine, 8:30am local time tomorrow!
Wouldn't mind being there to see the other presentations.
It'll be the engine for the coming facelifted A6, and the S4 next year, similar to how both the A6/S4 shared the 2.7TT. The 3.2L engine today really needs to be revised especially now that the new 2.0T coming has more torque than the current V6.
EDIT: While you're at it, check out this <a href="http://www.wipo.int/pctdb/en/wo.jsp?IA=WO2008017952&wo=2008017952&DISPLAY=DESC" >patent</a> from Eaton (relatively new too) on their supercharger/turbocharger setup. Similar to VWs but the supercharger is used to help spool up the larger turbocharger.

That's a little disapointing to me...
"...The new S4 apparently was not developed by Audi's high-performance division, Quattro GmbH, but the S4 will be distinguished by having distinct cladding from the A4. ..."

B8 2.0T but hey....no quattro on that one (B8). What the heck are they doing with superchargers anyhow? I hope these are just rumors. I was looking forward to the new S4. I'm thinking I should just trade in the TT for the 335i, chip it and call it a day.
