Default LCD Guidance: 52" Sharp Aquos LC52D65U vs 52" Sony Bravia KDL52V4100

Hoping for some opinions or knowledge on the differences between these two sets.

- I own a "46 sharp aquos LCD and love it
- I have no experience with these new V-series Bravia sony sets
- The sony is 300-500 more expensive. Worth it?

Thanks gents
Aman

Default I'm thinking similarly...

Though trying to get myself a W4100 -- the 120hz makes it much more expensive though? Pfft.

Also, have you considered the Samsungs? I've been thoroughly impressed with every one that I see.

Default Panasonic PX80 50-inch plasma for 1200$

Before you say you prefer LCD and you need 1080P, go see it ;-)

Go with Sharp. They are the best in LCD TV.

Mostly gaming, sometimes moderately lit room...my understanding is LCD would be better suited?

That's cool. Honestly if you're happy with the Aquos you have, I'd stick with Sharp too.

Default TJ: On a related note, where to get TV stand + matching bookshelves?

Took a look at the Brick, they didn't have much. Went to Ikea, they had some selection but nothing that my receiver would fit into (all their stuff was 1" too short on width!).

Anywhere else I should look?
