Having a problem with my driver headlight it will occasionally go out. So the first logical thing I could think of doing is changing the xenon bulb ( already checked all the connections inside). Does anybody know how much a good xenon bulb cost for a B6 A4 (not at the dealership they told me $260, insane!!!!) and where I could pick one up.....thanks

Try swapping capsules between sides to see if problem persists.

Ebay. You need D1S bulbs (I'm assuming the car is 2003+).

was planning to put it in my R6, that never panned out, couldn't find a place for the ballast...

If it has problems starting up then it's the igniter, both the ballast/igniter is contained in one unit.
