Low oil light comes on but oil is not low.
The book says there are three types of lights
Oil Min
Oil Sensor
Red Oil light
I hav ethe Min one on but oil is not min. Any ideas?

faulty sensor or faulty indicator...
... should be able to test with vag-com. Read the oil level sensor and test the indicator.
Is the light on all the time?

My experience with the S4 V8.
If the oil light comes on you will need to add more oil than you think. Did you check the oil level on a level surface? How much oil did you add?
