I just noticed this the other day when all of GTA was frozen. My drivers side seems to defrost just fine, but the passenger side stayed frozen.
This is probably a dumb question, but the passenger side mirror is heated too right?

they break after a few years. The first step for me was the heat stopped working. Then the mirror cancer started (brown rust spot under the glass that eventually preads to the whole surface)
Only solution is to replace and wait 'til it happens again.

than other places, then ran a bead of automotive goop along the edge to prevent water getting in behind the plastic mounting plate and ruining the mirror, hopefully it works.
