No it is not. The goverment isnt raising taxes. (more thoughts)
The price raises due to JACKASSES on wallstreet "speculating" about gas futures.
So

I did not mean that "G" is raising taxes,
I mean the System is F, Acked.
& since they make So much $$$, they will not fix it,
and we The tax payers, are paying for it.
now it just starting to show how bad it is for regular Joes.

But..
I dont have florescent or regular. I use halogen! and the ocasionaly High Pressure Sodium or Metal Halide in the basement (cough cough). But, why should it be the governments responsibility to regulate gas prices? They tax everything and anything. There is no regulation on the price of a chocolate bar, and the government takes 15% of that. (ok bad example)

i do agree with you, conditionaly thou..
then they should let every body else to gouge the prices as well.
i have small bus, i feel taxes all the time.
