Need wheel advice on MSW Type 11 for winter use

Need wheel advice on MSW Type 11 for winter use
Spoke the tirerack this morning and the fellow confirmed that the MSW Type 11 fit my A4 but he had reservation using those wheels for winter. Apparently the painted accents can get damaged and the wheel can corode.
Anyone ever see the MSW Type 11 in person? Should I follow his recommendation and stay away from that wheel?
