They are using the A4 tactics
That is to make the new model just as fugly as possible to make us appriciate the older models. Like when the B7 came out i started to like the B6 more and more i have a feeling it will be the same for the TT.

Not sure if I like the new TT
Though get rid of the tape hiding the shape of the front and rear lights and other stuff it may look good. The roof line on the new TT looks like it has the same shape as the previous one but it appears that the TT itself grew in size.
