Default Roadtrip from Boston, MA to NB/PEI/NS. Is 93 octane common up there?

I realize that it is quite rural up there. At least I hear taht the roads are in good shape for my 19" wheels.

:^)

Thanks,

J

Default Unfortunately no, on both counts

There isn't any 93 to be found, unfortunately. As far as the roads go . . . well. . . at least the scenery will distract you from the bumps!! It is a beautiful area, and wonderful to drive, but some of the roads have really fallen into disrepair. The main highways are fine, but boring. The beautiful scenery, and fun roads to drive, do tend to be a little rougher.

Where do you plan on going? Hope you have a nice trip,

matt

Default Where's Shadyraven with his Ultra 94 post from BC

You can get 94 octane if you're passing through Quebec

Oh advice - if you love driving, like I do, do PEI first. The drive was uber-boring and the scenary was okay. Cape Breton Island, now that was a fun drive, I was tempted in doing the same drive again but in the opposite direction afterwards! Food was great and the Skyline Trail is the most popular trail out there for hiking.

I never did made it to Newfoundland though.

Default On cue... Dude, you're touring the wrong end of the country...

True, the east coast is nice, but don't listen to these COTU morons and the rants that will soon follow. Take it from someone who has lived and seen it all, the west is best for views and weather,

Oh, and as final plug... the 2010 Olympic Games. Yeah, we actually won our bid :P
