Default Watched it last week

The STS-V is just slow... having an automatic doesn't help.

Default dont forget that the m3 is only a 6cyl. 3.2 and the RS4 and S4 are 8cyl. 4.2 and was still close

the BMW 550 is an 8cyl 4.8 and has about 360 or so hp..

well frankly i want to see Audi to start to make some serious power out of their engines.. coz we're losing to bmw right out of the factory..

fact: M6 V10 5.0 500hp audi equivalent: ?? even the R8 is rated at 420hp?

and frankly except for the new bmw 3 and 5 series i personally really like the m6 style...

Default Power is getting rediculous, keep it lighter

The R8 is 420hp right now and weighing in at ~3500 lb. The M6 isn't exactly a light weight either... ~3900lb. But we're talking about two different class of cars here.

And I concur .. I'm only referring to just the engine engineering/capabilities of the two companies.

It's not always about HP and speed.

Default Two different approach I say

One used FSI at the track (well with Bosch of course), while the other developing their knowledge at the F1 circuit and both bringing their unique technology to their passenger vehicles.

I don't really like the M6 style at all, seen it up close, not digging it.

Default wait until the new m3 comes out. My guess is the gap in performance will be the same

as the current e46 and the s4.
