Received a letter saying that they accept my plea of Not Guilty, which just means that they acknowledge my plea but we're going to court.

I don't have the time to go to NY to contest this. I actually just plead Not Guilty because the State Trooper suggested it.

Any recommendations on a firm that will represent me? I don't suppose X-Coppers or PoinTTs will help me?

You have to do something or eventually it could lead to trouble down the road if you get pulled over

It was in Amherst NY, so it wasn't that far. I met the prosecutor and agreed to take some driving course locally and have my ticket reduced to a parking violation ticket. (go figure) When I met with the judge, I told him I was from Canada, and he told me to just pay the ticket, and he will drop the driving school thing. There were at least 20 more similar cases.

As far as ticket fighters, I'm not sure if they would go to NY. I had one done in London Ontario, but NY might be a different story.

www.notspeeding.com when I had a little run in with State Trooper Phillips in NY. Not sure how bad your ticket is to justify hiring a lawyer though.
