Default STaSIS StreetSport coilover kit.

Hey guys for my 2001 s4 this is the kit I am thinking of getting. What I am looking for is a kit that gives as close to stock ride quality as possible. I dont track that car and will not be lowering it that much. What do you guys think

For what you are describing the Streets should be fine... as an upgrade consider the Vogtlands

Default So....you're not going to lower it, you don't track it, and you want stock like ride.

Why upgrade at all?

Default Near stock ride quality and said he would be lowering it a bit... STaSIS SS's FTW

Will you ever adjust the height again?? If not, I would agree with Aman, but if you want room to play - I went with c/o's. I did not find a matched spring/shock combo that met my height satisfaction... and even if you set it and forget it, at least the c/o option gets you to exactly where you want to be, height wise.

Depending on the roads, you also have your rebound adjustability with the c/o's, not just height.

They were exactly what I wanted, but like Aman said, consider a matched set too.

Default Save some money and try a stiffer rear anti roll bar first.

Also, get good tires.

Having said that, lowering an S4 is cosmetic only as the factory height is very low already for a street car. There are those on this board who think lowering a street car is a good idea.

They are just wrong. You cannot lower the CG enough to make any discernible difference on the street OR the track and you MUST use stiffer springs if you lower the car which is not the best solution to the S4's dull handling.
