Talk me in or out of a Cayenne S...
Found a 2004 Cayenne S V8 (60k) for an amazing price. It's in great shape, and I know the previous owner. An old guy who moved on to a new Cayenne. All the maintenances were done at Pfaff and all electric problems fixed.
My main concern is the reliability. I have heard many horror stories about Porsches. Especially used ones where they cost an arm and a leg to fix. I'm fully aware that normal maintenance will be more than a regular car, but I'm more worried about the big things.
Thanks.

That is the only SUV I would seriously consider. Go for it!
For the maintenance part, give Jack at G-tek a call...tell him I told you to call. Ask him point blank how the maintenance is. What do you have to lose.

FYI Porsche has been the most reliable car mfg for many years. Better than honda and toyota. >
If you don't mind me asking...whats the deal? If you don't take it perhaps I may be interested.

Are you thinking of the "Initial Quality Survey"?

Re: Why? The VW and Audi SUVs are the same ****!
Excerpt:
"While the Cayenne is critical to Porsches bottom line, the fact that the new SUV incorporates a large proportion of Volkswagen components no doubt hurts the legendary brands overall IQS rating."
