Default Are there perceived Warranty items not paid for by Audi?

In other words, why would a dealer be reluctant to cover some repairs if Audi pays for all warranty items during a warranted period? Or do they?

I read periodically that a dealer is giving a customer a hard time with some repairs, why would a dealer care if it is a warranty item?

Default Dealers don't pay for the parts, but they do pay regular pay for labour at a discounted rate to Audi

Thus,

they may be reluctant in certain situations that can end up costing them lost profits.
